Facebook users would be wise not to visit a list of 25 websites made to look like the real thing but are really after their login information.

Researchers at Security Web-Center said these fake sites steal usernames and passwords from prospective victims.

"Please Don’t Try to login on listed websites," they said. The 25 sites include:

The researchers suggest those who may have exposed their personal information to these and other unauthorized sites should:
  •  Change all of their passwords that were exposed.
  •  Contact the institution that was spoofed.
  •  Tell them that their personal information has been exposed.
  •  Ask those institutions to cancel any of their accounts that got affected.
“If the information provided can be used to access other institutions, contact them as well. For example, if your credit card number was exposed, contact your credit card company as well,” the researchers advised. —MRTLBG, GMA News
