Finally, rumors about Sharon Cuneta’s network transfer has been confirmed. From being aKapamilya, the Mega Star is now an official Kapatid. Sharon has signed a five-year contract with the Kapatid network yesterday, Nov. 22.
The big bosses of the fast rising local network, TV5 president and CEO, Atty. Ray Espinosa, TV5 chief operating officer Robert Barreiro, and Cuneta’s managers, Sandra Chavez and Vic del Rosario of Viva Artists Agency, Inc. were present at the contract signing.
According to PEP, Cuneta has signed to do a daily show, a reality show, and a movie exclusively for TV5.
After getting the Superstar, Nora Aunor as their exclusive artist, the Kapatid network has captured another big star from the other major network with a rumored offer worth P1 billion which will be the biggest network deal, if ever, for a local celebrity.
Sharon was with ABS CBN for 24 years and her latest project with them was her hosting job in “The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition.”
